Chemistry Eligibility & Entrance Exams

Eligibility for UG courses in Chemistry
Candidates are eligible to secure admission to the UG courses in chemistry if they have completed 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
Eligibility for PG courses in Chemistry
Candidates seeking admission to the PG courses in chemistry should have completed their graduation in science from a recognised university with a minimum of 50-60% marks in the qualifying examination.
Eligibility for PhD courses in Chemistry
To be eligible for admission to the doctoral courses in chemistry, candidates should have completed their post graduation from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
Popular Chemistry Entrance Exams
Admission to the undergraduate courses in chemistry offered at majority of the colleges happen through merit on 10+2 qualifying exam. However, some popular colleges like Jamia Milia Islamia and Banaras Hindu University conduct entrance exams for admission to such courses. Admission to the postgraduate courses in chemistry are mostly offered through exams only.

Chemistry Courses
