Objectives/उद्देश्य
राज्य सरकार द्वारा गरीबों में भेदभाव को समाप्त करते हुए सामान्य वर्ग के निर्धन परिवारों के विकास और कल्याण की दिशा में सामान्य निर्धन वर्ग कल्याण आयोग गठित कर आयोग की अनुशंसा पर विक्रमादित्य निःशुल्क शिक्षा योजना लागू की गई है। योजना का उद्देश्य गरीबी रेखा से नीचे के सामान्य निर्धन वर्ग के विद्यार्थियों को स्नातक स्तर पर निःशुल्क उच्च शिक्षा प्रदान करना है। योजना में निर्धन वर्ग के ऐसे विद्यार्थियों को स्नातक स्तर पर निःशुल्क शिक्षा प्रदान की जाती है, जिन्होंने 12 वीं बोर्ड परीक्षा में 60 प्रतिशत से अधिक अंक प्राप्त किये हो अभिभावकों की वार्षिक आय 120000(उच्च शिक्षा हेतु) या 54000(स्नातक हेतु ) हो
Vikramaditya Free Education Scheme has been implemented by the state government on the recommendation of the Commission for the development and welfare of the poor families of the general category by setting up the General Poor Classes Welfare Commission by ending the discrimination among the poor. The objective of the scheme is to provide free higher education at graduation level to the students of general poor class below the poverty line. In the scheme, such students of poor class are provided free education at graduation level.Those who have obtained more than 60 percent marks in 12th board examination, the annual income of parents should be 120000 (for higher education) or 54000 (for graduation)

The one key eligibility criteria applicable for the Vikramaditya scholarship (MP) is that you should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh state. Besides this, you also need to fulfill the listed below criteria.
- The applicant must belong to the General category.
- The applicant must have scored at least 60% or more marks in the Class 12 examination.
- The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 1,20,000 (for higher education) and INR 54,000 (for graduation).

Vikramaditya Scholarship (MP) – Documents Required
Your application for the Vikramaditya scholarship (MP) remains incomplete if you do not upload the required documents in support of your application. The applicants who are willing to apply for the scholarship will require the listed below documents –
- Samagra ID
- Current college code
- Branch code
- Recent passport size photograph
- Caste certificate
- Income certificate of parents
- Resident proof
Registration Process –
Step 1: Visit the official website of State Scholarship Portal 2.0, Madhya Pradesh.
Step 2: Scroll down to the ‘Student Corner’ section on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on the ‘Register yourself’ button.
Step 3: Provide your 12-digit Aadhaar number and click on the ‘Check and Verify’ button to proceed further. The Aadhaar number can be verified via two ways i.e., OTP method and biometric method.
Step 4: After aadhaar verification, a page of guidelines will open. Read all the guidelines carefully, tick on the consent given at the end of the page, and click on the ‘Continue’ button to proceed.
Step 5: An application form will open. Fill in all the required details, and click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 6: After successful registration, you will receive your username and password to log in.
(Note: It is advised to change your password immediately after the first login)

Step 1: Visit the official website of State Scholarship Portal 2.0, Madhya Pradesh.
Step 2: Scroll down the homepage and click on ‘Vikramaditya Scholarship Yojana’ in the ‘Schemes of Higher Education Department’.
Step 3: Read all the details carefully and click on ‘If registered, Log in Here’ in the ‘Get Benefits of the Scheme’ section.
Step 4: Fill in the username, password, and captcha to log in.
Applying for scholarship –
Step 1: Fill in all the required details and upload the required documents.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
